It is a narrow way to drive into the carpark, it will be good for a partner to walk in to the counter to inform them that you are driving in. They will send someone to guide you in. The location and the price makeup for the tight squeeze.

Take a taxi if you have big luggage coming in/out from train station. It is difficult to manoeuvre through the shophouses and roads cos it's very busy. The Night Market is less than 5 mins away

We had a pleasant stay although the breakfast is rather basic tailored to local palates. There is an absence of the name of the hotel signage of Imperial Hotel) , instead it is known by "Hua Kuok" in Chinese character. The hotel entrance is not accessible by cab . Need to alight along the main road and walk into a lane (about 10m), where the hotel is situated. Once settled at the hotel, the rest of the stay was convenient......across the road to the hotel is the night market.

Staff is nice and overall the hotel stay is ok. Room chilly in winter. Breakfast spread is quite ok for Asian/Asean people. Only rice and porridge available with numerous side dishes. Definitely can fill your stomach with ok taste.

There are many review that mention the small of smoking in room. However my room at 5th floor is ok. It does smell maybe a bit old and smokey but acceptable for me (i do not smoke and hate people smoking). At night can hear next door having fun sound but luckily not too loud. Room is quite cold in winter as no heater.
