From the moment we arrived, Madam Xu, the gracious proprietress, made us feel like family.The homestay exudes a cozy charm, with comfortable rooms and all the amenities one could need for a relaxing stay. What truly set this place apart, however, was the warmth and hospitality of Madam Xu. She went above and beyond to ensure that we felt welcome and at home throughout our stay. One of the highlights of our visit was Madam Xu's kind gesture of personally driving us to the HSR station on the day of our departure. This unexpected act of kindness truly touched our hearts and made our experience at Luna's House even more memorable. Madam Xu's genuine care for her guests is evident in every detail, from the adequate pantry she has for guests, to the thoughtful advice she offered about exploring Kaohsiung. Her dedication to providing exceptional service is commendable and sets Luna's House apart as a top-notch homestay option in the area. Without a doubt, I will be returning to Luna's House Homestay on my next visit to Kaohsiung. LikedHomely feel with shared full kitchen, free coffee and hot choc etc. Very nicely decorated themed rooms in this ariBnB type boutique hotel. Owner communication was excellent.

DislikedI booked this hotel thinking it is walking distance to Kaohsuing High Speed Rail station, but it is not. (There are 2 Kaohsiung train stations). Our booked train was early in the morning, before the reception was staffed. So we could not get their help to call a taxi.

Liked- The location was good for my need due to travelling for work. There are plenty of shops nearby for food, shopping, massage...etc. - The morning staff and I believe it was the owner (older lady) were very friendly. The night staff was less friendly as she doesn't greet guests entering or leaving the B&B (please don't be misunderstood as this place doesn't include breakfast) - The room was very clean and spacious - The room doesn't really separate noises from the outside, BUT I had a good night sleep as my neighbors were very quiet after 9pm already.

Disliked- The bed was a bit too hard for my personal liking - The parking spot was outside in the open. Making me feel less secured and unprotected from the sun.

LikedLarge room. Quiet land clean and n nice to taxi to Zuoying stations instead of going to center of town Close to night market. All the staff were so friendly.

DislikedI wish we would have understood location better when we reserved Closest metro stop is arena which we used to access many tourist destinations. Area around hotel is fine but not particularly interesting
