Quite far from metro station (city council mrt), room is old and dirty.

Booked as a last minute one night stay. The room is quite small and cramped for a hotel run in Kaohsiung. It seems like a love motel doubling as a weekend hotel for weekend warriors. At check-in we tried to ask for a second room key but the under-prepared front desk staff could not give us one. Amusingly, the room had no outlets besides right above the bed and even though there was a water cooker and hair dryer we could only try to connect them above the bed. The outlet was strangely taped with no explanation and we had to unseal the tape to be able to use it at all. Air conditioning was already in full blast but it was quite weak for the hot weather the city offers. Leaving luggage at the lobby was quite dubious without any system to safeguard or match the guest luggage bags. Luckily Taiwan is a safe country but one can't help but wonder if a stranger could simply take things and get away with it. Overall, a lackluster stay for the price that was charged, definitely would not recommend unless you are out of options.

There are smells of smoking on and off in non smoking room. Informed reception and she came up to smell it herself. Then when she came up no more smell of smoke. She implied that I smell wrongly. The balcony door have no noise proof and the hotel is near to a main road. Luckily, the traffic not heavy in wee hours.
