Likedits very near liouhe night market, one of the famous tourist markets in the city. its near souvenir shops as well as convenient stores and restaurants. its easy to check in and check out. they were able to accommodate my very early checkout on my last day. the room is huge, though a bit old, but its still functional. even the bathroom is spacious. the bed and pillows are very soft and comfortable. there is available water dispenser on some floors (there is one in mine).
Dislikedthe walls are very thin, that you can hear other rooms opening and closing their doors, sometimes even the other guests talking along the hallway. there are days when you need to open your shower for a few minutes before hot water comes out. also, there is no available toiletries, body was, shampoo etc inside the bathroom. they will give you a night's worth of them upon check in, and if you needed more, you have to ask front desk again.

The rooms are old with bad ventilation. We were hit with the kind of moldy, heavy smell usually associated with unused rooms the moment we entered. Turning on the AC helped get the air flowing, but the air coming out of the AC itself had a unpleasant smell as well. Since there wasn't a window screen we were unable to open the window. The bathroom was spacious but not as clean as we would've liked. Overall, considering the price isn't significantly lower than other/better options, we would not recommend this hotel.

Whole room full of smoking smell. Small cockroaches can been seem daily. Facilities are really running down.

Likedthe room 701 was sooo stinky with smoky. I asked the hotel to change the room and the new one was better

Great budget hotel. Near Formosa Blvd MRT station and many nearby shops. Awesome hotel for travellers.
