We have stayed here several times. It's a great option if you want peace and quiet within easy reach of Kaohsiung or Pingtung. It's best if you have a car, of course. E-Da is just a few minutes up the road, and there's a family mart a few minutes' drive in the other direction.

This was our second time staying here. Good for a short break in a quiet location within easy reach of Kaohsiung and Pingtung. The room was spacious and clean though it might be due a fresh coat of paint on the walls before too long. The staff member on duty was helpful and the breakfast is ok. There's now a family mart at the junction as you come up the road from Dashu which makes getting snacks and provisions more convenient than before. E-da and foguangshan are of course close by (if you have a car). Also a good place to spot some magnificent birds of prey!
