LikedThe spacious room, the breakfast buffet and the shops around it. The staff at the dining room was very helpful and courteous.
DislikedThe lady supervising the pool on Tuesday night. She made us feel unwelcome and keep on reminding us about pool closure time then ask us to leave 15 minutes before the spa and pool closing time. We chose this hotel because of the pool and spa facilities but her demeanour made us feel so uncomfortable and feeling like she wants to get rid of the patrons as soon and many as possible. Very disappointed!!

Despite it is an old hotel the amenities are okay and we had a family room of decent size. I think they have not complete upgrading all the rooms yet. The one i stayed at still acceptable.

LikedGenerously sized rooms and generally friendly staff. Generally speaking a relatively decent property.
DislikedLabeling a property as ‘five star’ when it is not is false advertising. The property’s five star rating expired in 2022 (displayed in the lobby), and it does not feel like the property and service have ever been higher than the level of a decent 4 star hotel. Cleanliness is also not on par, with the cleaners clearly unable to reach the top tiles in the bathroom.

LikedThe room was great. Love the toilet and bath tub as well as the huge bed, working desk and sofa.
DislikedLocation wise, you will need to take a taxi or uber. Otherwise, the hotel room is great. It's about 10-15 mins walk to liu he night market.
