Champagne Hotel

LikedAn old but down-to-Earth hot spring hotel. It has all the amenities you could need as it kept clean. The beds were big and comfy and we all slept well on them. The bedroom is on an elevated wooden platform which meant it was clean and OK for our baby to walk and crawl around on. The hot springs are big, spacious and very hot. The staff were especially friendly. It's also not far from the train station only taking 10~15 minutes to walk. It's also right by several restaurants and street stalls. It's also easy and close to some nice hiking routes.

DislikedSome of the hot spring jet machines didn't work but not that big a deal. Also, not the hotels fault, but the nearby streets were filled with parked cars forcing us to walk in the middle of the road with cars and scooters whizzing by. Even though there are several almost empty car-parks nearby, it seems the car owners can't afford or are too lazy to use them so block the pavements. I hope the hotels could put pressure on the local police/council to enforce these laws so pedestrians can walk comfortably and enjoy the street vendors.

LikedThere were all of the facilities present. The SPA ws also included. The hotel is just besides a 7 eleven. So, there was no problem with food.

DislikedThe hotel has wooden floors which is something nice but you can hear foot steps from above if kids are jumping but it was still acceptable
