With the exception of the strawberry farms, not much in this area especially without a car. Dining options are limited. While the onsen-like tub was really great, their BR setup is not heated so using the toilet is quite cold.

We checked in late night after we arrived at miaoli, to realise the rooms were are level 2 and there’s no lift so we had to bring our 3 luggages up the flight of steep stairs. One of the rooms didn’t have heater and it was winter so it was freezing in the room. There’s no heater in the all bathrooms and it is like the outdoor feel, it was too cold to even shower. Not safe for young kids as the barrier at level 2 has a big hole and it’s dangerous. The room is old and mouldy as well. The only good point is waking up to strawberry fields and location to the strawberry museum is walkable. Room size is decent too. But the rest was unacceptable. There were small roaches in the toilet eating our toothpaste after leaving it there for 10min. There’s a cat there that didn’t like kids according to the host but she didn’t share and it almost scratched my toddler when he try to pat it.

Average place to stay. Clear n nice but no lift and we had to carry our two big n one small luggage to 3rd floor.

The room did not match the photos. The equipment was very old, the lights were dim, there were ants, the table legs were broken, and there were mosquitoes. But the service attitude is very friendly and polite Recommended for travelers who just want to sleep but not quality.

Staffs are friendly and place is cosy. Accessibility is good with quite a few necessities nearby.
