Fully renovated older “grand hotel-ish” style in a great location for midtown / Central Park with clean rooms, as-described average amenities, but currently they are renovating elevators and after waiting ten minutes, either walked down (10 stories) or took an expectedly used and dinge-coated service elevator…not great. Service was average and friendly. Room was smaller than advertised.So…if you can get a great deal and want access to Times Square and the Park, etc., go for it. But also: calling them right now b/c I pre-paid and still have a $100 hold plus incidental charges of $50 that I didn’t buy. Honest here and hope it helps.

LikedLocation is fantastic
DislikedElevator situation is absurd, but the worst is being charged an additional $500 for nothing. The room was fine, clean enough. The ice bucket didn't have a bag to line it, no cups to use left. Phone didn't seem to work properly. Not the best experience

DislikedThe hotel has one elevator working for floors 1-21. Instead of reprogramming express elevators to go to those floors ( express elevators had access), the hotel just let people squeeze into tiny elevators and allowed for long lines to form for the elevator
