Villa Flora

LikedWe loved our stay at Villa Flora. The location was amazing, close to the train station and entrance into Pompeii. The team were super helpful and accommodating.

LikedExcellent location for visiting the Pompeii ruins. Views of Vesuvius and the site entrance from our hotel room! We stayed one night and were able to check in very late after tea in Naples. We were then able to leave our car in the hotel car park while we visited Pompeii the next day.

DislikedWould benefit from a lift to upper levels, but apart from that it was perfect for our purpose.

LikedVery clean and very close to the main tourist site. Staff were helpful and spoke English

DislikedLoud at some points in the day due to being close to the train station and a busy road. We could hear the train announcements very clearly from our room.

LikedThe location was amazing, being right next to Pompeii ruins and the recommended restaurants locally were superb

DislikedWe checked out within 30 minutes of arriving for a 2 night stay. Although the staff were very nice, helpful and good at their job. The room had a good bathroom and decent bed but the headboard was dirty and well worn. We didn't stay as it was located on a busy road, the blinds had some broken slats. The air con wasn't working, so couldn't close the windows to shut out the road noise. The furniture was very old and looked more like student accommodation. We didn't like the large illuminated red love hearts outside then window that shined in. We were also put off by the large sign outside the building declaring "rooms available by the hour", together with a condom vending machine in the lobby. The whole place felt a little seedy so we repacked the car and found somewhere else. I didn't request a refund and will put this down to experience where some positive reviews and nice photos are sometimes misleading!
