The Westin Warsaw

LikedOne of the best hotel rooms we ever stayed in. Very well designed and quality equipped. Overall a modern hotel in very convenient central location near both metro lines M1 & M2.

DislikedWe actually had two subsequent bookings and stayed in Westin for a week. Last couple of years we stayed twice in Sofitel, once in Intercontinental and twice in Regent. All 5 star Warsaw hotels like Westin and a week each time. I would rate breakfast with 9 for Intercontinental, 8 for Sofitel, 7 for Regent and 5 for Westin. Of course everything is relative but I was really missing quality, variety, taste and overall organization in breakfast. I would give similar rating for general organization and overall management as well. I do not want to go into lot of details but during this week we have faced or noticed a lot of mishaps although it did not influenced our robust good mood ... But I would expect a bit more for the almost 5.000 zloti I paid.

Likedsecond time staying at the Westin, loved it again, clean spacious hotel, the glass lift was a highlight for my son! the buffet breakfast was very good, really enjoyed, the room was clean, spacious and we had requested a bed for our son, plenty room for it. All staff was polite and helpful, will definitely stay at the Westin again when we go to Warsaw!

DislikedHello , I recently stayed in Westin Warsaw 3 nights . Problem with AC ( air conditioning) . In room was very hot , not able to change temperatures . Twice I asked staff at reception and asked to fix it as it was extremely difficult to sleep . It was very hot. No action whatsoever. Did not sleep for 3 nights without possibility to open the weendows because of the b . Main corridors ac was perfectly fine. But room was horrible hot . Thermostats are old and not controllable, Very disappointed. I will call the manager in the morning . This must be addressed. This is 5 stars hotel and this never should happen . Sincerely Piotr

DislikedFirst night I went to the bar and asked for an espresso and water. Experience was not in line with 5* hotel rating. I got very bad filter coffee and when asked why, got the explanation that coffee machine is cleaned and not working anymore. I should have been told it before. Also, for water I didn’t get glass, just water bottle.

LikedModern hotel, comfortable room, very good breakfast, excellent location. Extremely helpful staff. The receptionist lady was super kind, she showed me 2 different rooms in order to check what kind of view I prefer.
