The Sebel Sydney Manly Beach

LikedWe booked the one bedroom suite and was perfect for one adult and 3 kids. Location was fantastic, very close to beach and shops.

LikedRoom was a good size with plenty of space and well located with a view over the pool. It was a shame there was no ocean view but nice to have regular visits from the cockatoos! Mostly quiet and peaceful

DislikedThere was a strange noise throughout the night every night like taps being turned on and off. Not always enough to wake you up but a bit annoying. Lack of storage and some major space wasted where could easily have put more storage such as under the sink, in the twin bed room and in the main room under the desk. Shower overflowed initially and had to get someone to come and look at it and the wifi wasn't secure and was very intermittent.

DislikedI thought the price charged per night was in excess of what this property deserves to charge. My room felt old and tired - more like a self catering apartment than a 4 star hotel. It is good that the property has a restaurant on site, but I was surprised to see that there is no option for breakfast other than to head to one of the nearby cafes. That is not really an issue, but I had expected that a hotel like the Sebel would have had a breakfast option available.
