DislikedI never write reviews but... I booked it last minute due to a hotel cancellation. It was dirty, there were holes in the walls and the door. The room was freezing, I had to sleep with my clothes on even though the electric heater was set to the highest temperature and was left on all night. I woke up still cold. The room was supposed to be king size - nothing king size about it. There were two random wooden doors in the room, one with a ripped out lock that didn't close properly, which resulted in the door randomly opening up. It was a dusty storage room where an old mattress and furniture were kept. There was another wooden door (like a radiator cover )that was poorly fixed onto the wall which kept on making a cracking sound which at some point opened and revealed a SEPARATE ROOM behind a fabric curtain. The windows in that room were covered but could be broken because this is where the cold was coming from. Old mattress laying on the floor in that room with some unused wooden furniture. The sheets were clean but the curtains had stains, there were dead insects on the walls, near the window and even next to the tea cups. I checked in at around 8pm and it was already dark outside and once I discovered the secret room behind the cloth I was terrified. The bathroom was also smelly in the morning and the kitchen looked completely different from the photo of the kitchen that is shown in the gallery of my room. The description of the room and the photos of the kitchen don't match. To top it all off, I reached out to booking.com before I wrote this review, asking for a refund, explaining my experience. I can't stress enough the fact that I was a solo traveller and it was simply a scary experience. Booking.com got back to me saying that the host is strongly disagreeing and refusing my refund. I also read some of the reviews and I noticed how passive aggressive and plain rude the host is. I would not recommend.

LikedThe accommodation is located in the heart of Gdansk. It only takes a few minutes by foot to get to the main attractions of the city, so no need to turn to means of transport. Our room was properly heated and not excessively noisy. The owner was responsive.

DislikedThe bathroom is shared with two other rooms and is really essential. There was a door in the room that led nowhere, but a dusty closet with a discarded mattress. The handle of the aforementioned door was like "gnawed" and no longer served its function. The mattress on the bed wasn't comfortable at all, as it was like hollowed out from its wear and tear.

LikedNOTHING, booking.com should remove this property from the platform as it does not offer even the minimum standard for staying there - NO HOT WATER, NO HEATING in WINTER!

DislikedThis was THE WORST stay, the RUDEST host and the MOST STRESSFUL experience. I booked 31 nights for over 1000 EUR and the service received was NOT worth the money. This property needs to be removed from the booking.com platform, as there was no hot water in the kitchen, no heating in the kitchen nor in the bathroom, the hot water in the shower is set to a minimum so it runs only for 5 minutes before turning ice cold, and the worst part - once the heating in the bedroom was also gone, the property did not answer the phone at all, after I finally got hold of someone on the phone I was told it was going to be fixed but nothing happened till the evening, when I contacted booking.com to ask for help. That is when the property reported SLANDER to booking.com about us and used their POWER to move us (in a very rude way) to another apartment, which did not have the amenities that were in the description. The room was probably never heated and so freezing cold, that we had to sleep in jackets as the barely warm radiator did not help AT ALL. This is when we decided to move out, as this was unbearable. As the property ONLY offers non-refundable bookings (another suspicious part of the strategy of this property where YOU, as GUEST, have no way out of the service that is so poor you wouldn’t keep animals in here, not to speak about allowing this place to host people) we were given a refund that was way lower than the rate per night times amount of nights we spent. A ROBBERY! The property owner/manager is not only RUDE but also CONSTANTLY CHECKS the drawers in the common areas and the bathrooms. This property owner wrote booking.com very disturbing lies, such as dirty dishes being left at the kitchen (these were clean dishes left to dry), personal belongings left in the common areas (jackets left in the corridor) or in the kitchen drawers (coffee and sugar) - imagine, you are not allowed to leave anything in the kitchen!
