Samsara Cliff Resort

LikedThe hotel is in a great location on the cliffs. It's easy to get a local taxi to go out for lunch or dinner off the property. The rooms are decently furnished, a good size.

DislikedEvery single staff member we encountered, from the moment of checking in was unhelpful and actually rude. We arrived after 3 pm, were told we'd have to wait for our rooms even though they should have been ready. We saw 2 other couples who had been waiting since 10 am! Again, they experienced the same rudeness from the staff. The room was dirty when we finally got in, I had to insist our sheets be changed in my presence. I requested beach towels, which never came, so I had to go get them from the front desk. They told me there were no clean towels. The daily shuttle that is scheduled to take guests to their sister property on the beach, left our party and another couple waiting in the reception area, and then the driver tried to charge us for the ride when he returned! Unbelievable! We woke up to see dirty dishes left by the pool the previous evening still there at 9 am the next morning. It's a lovely property that is so poorly managed. Pay a little bit more and stay in a better hotel on the cliffs. This is not worth the aggravation during your holiday.

LikedEverything about this property is breathtaking. Peace, quiet and tranquil times at Samsara. Bonus that we got to share the other hotel Legends Beach Resort with 2 shuttles daily.

DislikedThe meals with the all-inclusive were ok, not bad food just repetitive meals. We would go back without the meal package but to say it was good food is an understatement. I feel a lot healthier eating food without processing and home made.
