Appartement La Masse

LikedLocation in the Old Town of Avignon is perfect for tourists that want to explore this tourist destination. It is close to all main attractions. We were allowed to bring our luggage early for storage on the morning we checked in, which was very nice.

DislikedThe apartment is cold and I had to request for heat to be turned on. We could not use the drier for our laundry and since there was very little heat, our laundry has not dried completely during two days of our stay.

LikedAppartement has a really good location and is very spacey. Host Saad was really nice and gave us usefully tips what to see. It was a short, but nice stay.

DislikedFloor is all made with marble, so it was a bit cold.

DislikedOven was not working television was not working and no wardrobes

LikedThe location was excellent only two blocks from Les Halles. There are a lot of food and drink options in the neighborhood. The apt is right off of a Rick Steves Avignon walk. The owners are fabulous. there are four beds in the apartment although we only used two. It’s very clean and it’s in a really cool building complex

Dislikedit’s on the first floor and windows look out into narrow street which is more like a alley. We kept the shutters closed much of the time. the courtyard has lighting but it is not motion activated. you have to push a button to activate them.

LikedGreat location and the host was very responsive.

DislikedWe were a family of 5, but the water heater was only large enough for 1 hot shower, leaving the rest of us to shower in the cold. We stayed in December during a cold spell and the apartment was drafty and chilly. The heat couldn’t be adjusted from within the apartment. The host was very responsive and turned the heat up to high, but the main room where our children slept was still chilly.
