Great location and walking distance to most of the must see venues. Very friendly staff always available to help you to make your stay comfortable. Also many restaurants and Turkish delights around the hotel. Some tips: Breakfast spread is limited Room size was ok but presence of washbasin outside the washroom area , not a great sight. Very small and uncomfortable washroom.

DislikedThe room faced the air conditioning fan from the building opposite so was a little noisy. Other rooms may have been quieter.

We loved the location, the staff their help, the proximity to the major sites in the old part of town. Really felt that the service was warm and helpful and we are so happy we stayed there!

I cannot say enough kind things about the hotel and staff of the Hotel Sultania. From the moment we checked in til our final goodbye and farewell gift from the staff we felt cared for and welcome. The rooms were very clean and we felt the spirit of the culture in the design and decoration. The buffet breakfast was one of the best we've ever had. Fruits, meats, candies, baked goods and even honey comb were all on the menu. Though we missed the complimentary afternoon tea and cake, we enjoyed a delicious dinner at their rooftop restaurant. What was truly impressive was after an unfortunate incident at the Grand Bazaar, the staff contacted the police for us and even sent a member of their staff to assist in resolving the matter, which I believe would have ended differently if not for their help. If we ever return to Istanbul, the Hotel Sultania is our choice without question. Thank you!!

LikedWe only stayed there for 1 night before heading out to other cities but we were very impressed. - Early check-in: Our international flight arrived at 6 am and they gave us early check-in so we can rest and refresh from long flight before our sightseeing begins. They said it's not usually guaranteed but they will try to accommodate it if it's available. - Room : Although a bit small to fit 2 luggages, room is actually very comfortable. And the bed, so comfy and we rested very well in it after our long flight and full day of activities. The balcony opens out to get fresh air is good. - Location : So easy to get to and from any where in Sultana Ahmet by walking in a short time, but not too busy or touristy neighborhood. It has a lot of restaurant options around there. - Breakfast : Quality ingredients and fresh. The quality really surprises and delights us. - Facilities: In-door heated swimming pool is nice and foc. But we didn't have chance to try as we only stay for a night. Hotel has rooftop restaurant, and we had dinner there. It offers the nice view of Hagia Sofia and the food is very good !!
Disliked- apart from room size ( which is expected when booking), everything else works wonder !!
