We enjoyed staying at this hotel, it has a lot of history which was interesting to note through all the photos in the hallways. Room and bed was comfortable, breakfast was enjoyable with plenty of variety both local and western foods. Pool was a little warm but enjoyable after a day of walking / exploring. Recommended.

LikedA very grand old hotel from 1901- fascinating history. Enormous rooms, high ceilings, nicely furnished with good air con. Peaceful garden courtyard with bar and restaurant. Good sized pool. Lovely riverside location; we were upgraded to a riverside room with a balcony which was fabulous. Excellent breakfast included. Very good value.
DislikedWater pressure was very low and the shower was over a bath, but this is an old hotel, so to be expected. Overall everything was well maintained.

LikedA lovely French Colonial heritage hotel. The pool and the grounds are a lovely little oasis. Couldn’t fault the room which had a great view over the river. Good choice of Asian and western for breakfast. Despite its age the Morin is very well maintained and clean. A short walk away from a plethora of restaurants and the Citadel which is just over the river. Fantastic value for money

LikedBreakfast was just average, not good quality products. The hotel needs to update things like carpets, mattresses at the spa are very old, furniture in the garden is uncomfortable.
DislikedStaff doesn't really speak English and that creates misunderstandings. The help is limited because they can't understand.
