Hotel Ridomar

LikedBreakfast was good variety of drinks. Hot drinks machine, juice and water. Good selection of fresh bread, fruit and pastries. Water fountain in reception. WiFi was good.

DislikedThe pool was not open as advertised. The gym was not open as advertised. Excessive noise from other guests until 5am. Was advised by receptionist this is normal in Spain and can’t not be helped. Walls very thin. Can hear every word and movement. Even if they use the light switch! Breakfast: hot buffet not kept hot. Chilled buffet not kept cold (only milk and yogurts were chilled in mini fridge) All dishes room temperature with a microwave to re-heat.

DislikedUpon entering the room, there is a musty smell. It can be seen that the hotel's glory days are already behind it. It could also be cleaner and the breakfasts were not very tasty

LikedSpacious wide beds. Free cooler with clean water. New renovation. Free parking near the hotel. Pleasant staff. Delicious cuisine. Possibility of excursions from the hotel.

DislikedA bit far from the sea.

LikedThe rooftop terrace is great, and immaculately clean. Reception staff efficient and friendly.

DislikedThe location is not ideal, with the entrance door on a steep hill. The shower head could not be adjusted, meaning water on the bathroom floor after every shower. Breakfast was mediocre. Certainly not a 4 star hotel in my view.
