DislikedThe room space was so little we couldn’t open our luggage

LikedI liked the beautiful interior and exterior design, the staff was exceptionally helpful, it was a generally central location, close to train stations.

DislikedI didn’t eat any of the meals so I can’t rate the food, there wasn’t anything I didn’t like about the property that I tried!

LikedI love the relaxing, serene atmoshpere the most about Hotel Niwa.

DislikedOnly downside was no weights like dumbbells in the fitness center. Very minimal since everything was amazing!

LikedA wonderful hotel, beautiful setting with a beautiful lobby, lovely restaurants, Japanese style garden, and very comfortable rooms.

DislikedThe only thing I didn’t like was how we had to be out of the breakfast room precisely at 10:00 a.m. The staff were always looking at their watches and would tell the often many people still eating that they had to scout precisely at 10:00. I think they should have given some grace period of half an hour. There was such a fixation on the time. I understand it is culturally important in Japan and perfection in such matters is desired, but I know from talking with other guests that it grated on people’s nerves. Otherwise, we had a terrific, memorable stay. It’s a great hotel.
