LikedThe hotel was super pretty and the common areas are very fun. You get daily cleaning and fresh towels.

DislikedThe rooms are really tiny.

LikedThe large open plan room was great for our family, and beds were cosy. The projector and screen made our kid very happy! The breakfast was delicious and healthy.

DislikedWe were asked to pay extra for our 5 year old's breakfast, even though he was included on the hotel booking.

Liked- The location was good, right next to Uji park and nezu station - The staff were really nice and spoke great english - Breakfast was good value for money - Lounge area was nice and the kitchen was Spacey - Cozy cafe and terrace - Shower rooms were nice - Regular room service

Disliked- The toilet rooms were not clean for Japanese standards - Dorm rooms were too small to comfortably fit 4 people in - Beds weren't comfortable and the wall side was clearly not being cleaned regularly - A strange smell hung in the dorm halls - No soundproofing so you could hear snoring and people getting in and out at full volume For the price you're paying, you are better off adding 5€ a night and just getting a normal hotel. Every morning I just wanted to get out of the hotel as soon as possible. The staff were the highlight.

Been in Japan for 3 times, and it’s WOOOWW i lost something My complaints: 1. I lost my socket adapter (it’s especially adapter) in the hotel just few hours i was there. I use it when I arrive there and have to move to another room coz the room before will close. When I want to charge all my suplies in my room i noticed I lost it, then I return to the rooms before and I couldn’t find it and the staff was not there coz already midnight, so I came back in the morning to ask them until the day I check out, they couldn’t find it, I asked them to check through CCTV and they said couldn’t find it. For me it is just WOOOOOW I lost in a hotel/hostel in JAPAN. I even can find my IC Card and ticket in the public are when I accidentally dropped it and return the the same places few hours later 2. They shouldn’t let another guests to bring bowl/plate/glass/mug to their room if they don’t prepare many, so another gusts can use it also. It’s hard to find glass/mug to drink or utensil to eat, they prepare for big kitchen, I think we don’t need that we just need glass and friends(there are 3 spaces for kitchen/stove and super big for traveler) 3. We can't contact them through message on Agoda, not available (when I booked) so I email them for special’ request do to my healthy . And they NEVER READ/OPEN their mail box, this is super annoying. Please regularly read your mailbox 3. Shower room for women at the level 3, if you stay at another level, ask them for bath rope I don’t have any issues with: 1. Staffs, they are friendly and super helpful (except for my socket adapter, I don’t know how to say) 2. Cleaness, it’s suoer clean hostel 3. Facilities (except bowl, plate, utensil) If you travel with big luggage/heavy luggage, it’s bit far to reach the Ueno Station, take a taxi costs you1.400 yen for just 1.2km (I did), it’s oke if you ist have your backpack
