LikedThe breakfast was fairly good. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was facing the sea, and had a nice balcony. We could also borrow bicycles for free, which was very nice.

DislikedThere was no water in the pool, and there were no sunbeds by the pool, although it was shown on the pictures on booking.com, and in the elevator. A little party pooper, when bathing in the sea is prohibited.

I stayed at Hotel Bayview when the earthquake hit Hualien. I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service and the hotel’s solid building structure. Throughout my stay, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. Additionally, I was amazed by the hotel’s resilience during an earthquake that occurred during my stay. Despite the tremors, the building remained sturdy and secure, providing a sense of safety and reassurance. I highly recommend Hotel Bayview to anyone seeking a combination of outstanding service and a reliable, well-built structure. Thank you to the entire team for making my stay memorable and worry-free. LikedStaff were incredibly friendly and knowlegeable. Breakfast was well stocked with good variety of fresh foods. Room was very clean and comfortable. Immediate beach access from the hotel! Will definitely stay here again when we are in the area!

I love the interior of the hotel. Well decorated, bright and clean. The beach is just a few steps away. We managed to see the sun rise. Staff are friendly. Breakfast is good. Free transportation to and from the train station. We found a really nice, small Restaurant near the hotel selling fresh sashimi, skewers and grilled meats/seafood.
