LikedThe staff were amazing, so helpful so friendly and helpful with all our enquiries.. We were given suggestions of places to eat and things to do and when we went on a tour for a couple of days we were able to leave excess luggage at the hotel. The room was cosy and had every thing we needed and was clean

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, which is ideally located at the heart of the city, providing effortless access to major attractions like the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, and the Grand Bazaar. The convenience doesn't stop there; a mini mart and a café sit right in front of the hotel, making everyday essentials easily accessible. What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is its staff. They are not only helpful but genuinely caring. Upon arrival, I was greeted warmly, provided with a map, and given personalized recommendations for sightseeing and dining. During my stay, it rained heavily, and the staff kindly lent me an umbrella and a raincoat, which I deeply appreciated. On my last day, while waiting for a taxi, one of the staff members, who had ordered extra food, generously shared it with me, refusing any payment for it. This gesture of kindness was the cherry on top of a wonderful stay. Although this is not a 5-star hotel, the warm welcome, excellent service, and comfortable accommodations more than make up for it. It offers great value for its price and location. I'm already looking forward to my next stay and to catching up with the incredible staff!

LikedTucked in the heart of Sultan Ahmet , a few minutes walk from Sofia Hagia and the Blue mosque . The hotel is located in a narrow ,winding cobbled street , and is in the midst of half a dozen Turkish eateries . The area is replete with the ambience of Turkey of the Middle East Woke up each morning to the cooing of pigeons and chirping of sparrows and not the grind of vehicular traffic . We felt instantly at home after being warmly welcomed by Farooq, the manager . Farooq is fluent is English, and guided us throughout our stay and was of great help even after we had left the hotel and missed our connection . We then went to another city and stayed in. Five. Star hotel ; the stay there felt sterile and clinical and we wished that we could be back at Basileus

LikedIt is in a great location right next to the two big mosques of Istanbul Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. It was clean and always well maintained.
DislikedThe air conditioning did not always work so it would get really warm at night.
