Apartamentos Son Bou Gardens

LikedI was extremely glad that some one called me back when I arrived at the Son Bou Gardens reception office. The reception office was closed at the time. I do not remember the ladies name, but she was very nice and came quickly. She provided me with the keys and gave me a tour of the apartment. I arrived in the off season, so I expected minor problems. I would recommend Son Bou Gardens to other visitors. My advice for over seas visitors, call or send an email before you get there to confirm your reservation to make your arrival more smooth.

DislikedI was an American visitor. My biggest problem was dealing with my cell phone working in Spain. By changing my SIM card to a Spain cell phone provider, I lost all contact with my American email and phone number. It made it very difficult to make contact with property personal with the new Spain phone number. Suggest someone be at the reception desk the day visitors are do in with reservations.

LikedCleanliness and comfort, staff helped us with brocken remote control and was in touch via WhatsApp, place was very quiet in April, kitchen had all the utensils needed. Bus stop was very near and buses are easy to use

DislikedThe beds were very hard No shops was open in the area in April apart from a local bakery Long walk to the beach (15 mins)

LikedThe apartment was clean and comfortable. It has a well equipped kitchen . However , no toiletries were provided and we arrived on a bank holiday weekend, we couldn’t wash our hands as all the shops were closed .

DislikedSon Bau is a holiday resort where everything is shut from late September to May . Nothing was opened apart from a bakery and an Italian cafe . You need a car to move as it feels as a ghost resort . I wouldn’t visit this place again if not in the high season .
