The Willows is in a nice neighborhood setting with shops and businesses close by. We stayed there because is was between Boystown and downtown. The room had one bed and in all honesty was a little smaller than expected, but as usual when traveling, you don't spend much time in the room anyway. it is an older building, but I love that! it is well maintained from what I could tell. Nice fireplace and leather chairs in the lobby area with books available and interesting photos all over the place. There is no pool, or food service located within the hotel. There was a food delivery menu from a nearby restaurant that would deliver. The from desk staff was courteous and helpful. There is also no onsite parking lot., but there is a public structure about 1/2 block away. It cost $25/day and was open from 4:30AM? until midnight. After midnight you couldn't come or go until they opened for the day. The EL is within walking distance to get wherever you need to go. I would definitely stay here again. Just don't expect all the amenities that we are used to. And really... we have come to expect a pool and everything at every hotel we stay at, but how often do we really use them. Relax and go out and see the city and have fun!
