LikedLocation to Chelsea piers

DislikedRoom was to be ready by 3pm. Not ready until 3:45. Surprised there was no spacious lobby or check in counter. Bed and shower were excellent. Elevator pretty slow.

LikedLocation is excellent, and the facilities themselves are first class. The courtyard out the front is beautifully set, and a very pleasant place to sit and read while having a drink or catch up with friends. The bed was extremely comfortable and bathroom well equipped.

DislikedThe bedroom itself was relatively small, my double bed took up the entire width, other than a small bedside table. If there was more than just myself staying there it would have felt extremely cramped. For the amount of money, I was disappointed with this. Similarly, the staff could have been a lot more attentive. They were quite slow dealing with anything and one in particular was rather rude.

LikedLovely boutique hotel with tons of charm. The room and entire facility was full of character. And....Best shower ever! Outdoor bar has a lovely selection of cocktails and small bites. Very pleasant way to spend an afternoon.

DislikedIntellegensia (the coffee bar) is a separate business; would have been nice to be able to charge to the room. But this is a small nit.

LikedI choose this hotel as it is next door to where my meetings are and that eliminates extra travel in the city.

DislikedWhen I arrived I found the bathroom needed to be tended to as a piece of clothing had been left on the floor. The staff responded immediately. And sought to make up for it. But no rate adjustment is allowed with a booking service.
