Booked this for family traveling to Bangkok for the first time. They said the room was nice and clean, staff were friendly, and location was convenient if you’re planning on shopping at the nearby mall. Food at the hotel restaurants and the breakfast were very good too.

We are a repeat customers to Amari watergate. It’s a bit pricey but the location is the key for the price. But this time the stay was spoiled by the business conference the hotel was hosting for a company. The staff were not able to manage the crowd properly especially the morning breakfast, asking us to take the breakfast on a different floor without the full spread was a disappointment. The staff handling the breakfast entrance need to manage the situation better and anticipate arrangements for such crowded events. Other than that the hotel service, room and staff are impeccable and friendly as ever. Would definitely check if the hotel is going to host any conference before doing the reservation next time.

Worth every dollars spend

Not our first stay there, as usual it never fails but this time, it’s fully booked. Unfortunately there wasn’t any early check in (which Amari cannot be faulted on), but calls to housekeeping for hand towels and towels take forever to come. Kind of like Europe, which we didn’t expect from Bangkok. Everything else was great, and I might come back for a third stay but would consider my options around.

Very responsive customer service especially when we had problem with the access cards.
