Nice resort but not as clean and as maintained as expected. The pool wasn’t very appealing we didn’t get in. The room was nice.

Had a slight problem with rooms as we booked twins but they have no twin rooms. Was sorted by putting day bed in the room. Great breakfast, great views.

LikedRooms were ok if you woul;d not need to travel to them for half a kilometer. Manager of restaurant and guys in the beach bar were great and nice, I put rating 2 and not 1 only because of them
DislikedLong story short: 1. All "Private" rooms options are located a separate fenced concrete fortress (called Private Villa). It is about 500 METERS from the beach and pool (you don`t wanna use the "private" one for sure). Attachibg the map. To make this journey more exiting you go through the hotel`s parking, to tune up for a proper paradise vibe. It was an every day "expectation vs reality" suffering. On the photo you may see, that it is an anhill where you barely can see the sky. And that`s USD 1700+ for 10 nights. When I going through reviews before booking, I`ve read that "provte" is good and "don`t agree for upgrades". Who knew that it is literally a different hotel on the fourth line from the beach. 2. We got money stolen from our room. One may say, that shame on us for not putting all valuables into the safe, but within over a dozen trips to Thai we had no such experience. Thanks to the TwinLotus hotel and its staff for extending these boundaries. Reception staff to the resque! Normally they don`t speak understandable language. When they call those who are - they are quite indifferent, not to say rude (again, first time in Thai). When we raised our concerns regarding the distance of the room from the sea and facilities, and that it was not mentioned in description on Booking.com, they told us, that you must go to hotel website and check everything. And if you want to change the room we got options for 35K baht (1000 USD) per night. If you don`t like it, go and cancel the booking. As for money stealth I talked with reception lady and honestly have no clue if she acted or really didn`t understand me. "you cannot find money? You placed it and cannot find it? I send you room service". Decided not to involve police and worsen the vacation even more. It was 400$ and some bahts, and anyway it would be hard to prove anything. It just was the last drop. Cleaning is awful.

LikedGreat beach. Lovely room and the room was cleaned very well.
DislikedTired looking hotel. Lack of care about the facilities. The pool was dirty (slime floating in it, it hadn’t been cleaned - I guess just more chemicals thrown in) and there was a lack of care about the presentation of things (towels laid out on a plastic table, plastic signage hastily stuck up, wires running across the floor not tucked away) like it had been a lovely hotel and then management had gone south. It kind of screams mass tourism - package holiday place and if this is your vibe great, it wasn’t mine.
