LikedThe new rooms are very nicely done. The bed was very comfortable! The complimentary water and wine were nice.

DislikedThe halls had dirty dishes sitting outside of rooms for multiple days. The shower gel was completely empty in my shower. One of the sinks was clogged in the bathroom and had disgusting stuff dried in the sink. The property was unkept, the garbage area where the dumpsters are had garbage on the ground for days and the doors were wide open for all to see. Staff member upon check in was not very friendly and seemed very rushed. The cafe food was inedible, we spent $37 on a couple of breakfast dishes and threw them out, they were so bad. They were also out of plastic forks and made no effort to find us any silverware. Lastly and the worst part was that we were charged by Meritage for our stay that we pre-paid for on booking.com! I've been trying to get ahold of someone for 3 days to resolve with no return calls! I'm so frustrated!!!

LikedFacility is nice, and convenient to have a Spa on the property

DislikedWe experienced the worst service we have ever experienced. We stayed in the suite, and even though the room was nice, the TV didn’t work. Technicians came twice for a few hours but couldn’t fix it, and all these times, we had to wait. The bathtub didn’t work the first night. I requested help with luggage, but nobody came to help. The lady was vulgar when I asked her several times about it. The worst part is that Meritage charged us double for our stay, and nobody has answered our calls until now —and it’s not a tiny amount! Very disappointing and frustrating
