Renaissance Phuket Resort & Spa (SHA Plus+)

LikedRenaissance has a great staff, which easy the stay for all guests. The food on all restaurants is just phenomenal, it is the greatest highlight of this hotel.

DislikedRenaissance can eventually look into improving its facilities, such as adding water sports, day activities for tue guests around the beach and/or by the pool. The AC in the room seems not ideal for the weather condition (in fact, a bit warm during the night inside the room). Another point of improvement is the time to serve the food in the restaurants (too long... over 30min).

DislikedSwimming pool and amenities are too small compare to the number of guests so it's not a quiet environment where you can rest.

LikedRoom was comfortable (aside the mosquitoes) and spacious, staff were good, especially Yo, the trainer in the fitness centre. Fitness centre was fantastic with a wide range of machines and weights, some great classes on offer as well. Pool was good as was service by pool. Close to a nice, quiet stretch of beach.

DislikedBreakfast selection was large but still a disappointing selection for vegetarians, especially from the kitchen. Room consistently filled with mosquitos after cleaners came, despite complaints. Location was awful, there is nothing in the area apart from a hugely overpriced plaza reachable by shuttle with below average restaurants. We spent 45 mins each way in cabs to take us to nicer areas. On site restaurants and spa extortionate and not good value for money
