LikedGreat location, about a block from Marienplatz. Service is impeccable, staff are friendly. Well-sized bathroom, bright bedroom. Will definitely stay here again when I come back to Munich, and will recommend to family and friends.

DislikedBed is tad hard, but not a deal breaker for me.

I was supposed to be here w/my late husband. He lived abroad in the 80s & loved Germany. My children didn't want the dream to die so we're here on what would have been his 58th BD. He would've loved the authentic old style feel of the Platzl.

LikedThe breakfast was nice, but the room is not very pleasant. Crowded and noisy with uncomfortable chairs.

DislikedSee above. My room faced the Hofbräuhaus, and the nights were very noisy. Also, the slippers were huge. When I asked for a smaller pair, the maid said they inly have one size.
