LikedNice quiet room, late check out

DislikedHotel name changed and they didn’t have my reservation at all when it arrived. Lobby also under construction and there was no heads up about this.

DislikedNo lobby, restaurant or bar as under construction which we were not told about before arrival. If we hadn’t paid in advance we would have left and checked into the virgin hotel next door

LikedAntonio the bellman is great. The views are great. The location is close to many main attractions.

DislikedWe didn't get the room as booked and half the family had to sleep on a pull-out sofa. The shower leaked all over the bathroom floor. The lobby was completely under construction. We won't be back.

LikedI have stayed at this hotel many times, the convenience, courtesy of the staff and frankly the vibe is classy but not too much so. I like the new decor better than the prior so the upgrades are welcomed.

DislikedWell…they are working on the lobby and it looks bad right now so it’s not fair to judge. Better to wait. I am glad to see elevator improvements as the old ones looked to be original and there was always a wait. Anxious for the new restaurant as I always enjoyed Fisk and the prior iteration…need a place to eat in a hotel.

LikedLocation was perfect! Close to public transportation and Michigan Ave. Wonderful view from room. Beds were comfortable and rooms were big. When asked for a place to hear up leftovers they kindly brought up a microwave to the room. Everyone was so kind.

DislikedElevators weren’t working properly sometimes, but wasn’t a big enough issue to prevent us from staying here again.
