DislikedThe one & only thing was our room only had lamps as opposed to lights.. a little dull as our room as it looked out onto a court yard with tall buildings

LikedThe location is excellent, and it is near the Amsterdam Central Station. Offering a bar and a restaurant is also convenient. It’s a respectable hotel generally.
Disliked1. Overall, we expected better service in exchange for the rate paid. 2. The fire alarm startled us one morning. It was a false alarm. Yet, we got no apologies from the hotel for this horrible experience. 3. We had two unpleasant encounters with one of the staff at the reception. We know life is hard sometimes, but please do not let us pay for your struggles. We all have the same situation in life. 4. Dining service is minimal. The hotel only offers three options. We ordered a Caesar salad. It was in a plastic package, which means it is not fresh.
