Hyatt Centric Fisherman's Wharf San Francisco

LikedThe location is perfect, close to everything. The room was super clean, the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was a good size with plenty of space for toiletries etc.

LikedLocation is pretty good, but several blocks back from the wharf. Having a heated pool and hot tub was nice. The beds were great.

DislikedThe room and hotel were in rough shape. I have pretty high expectations of Hyatt from all my previous stays at their other properties and this was the worst property I've been to. Many things broken and damaged in the room. No views of the ocean.

LikedWhen I booked click the breakfast option when arrived the receptionist said it wasn’t included on her end and to call the third party. When asked about what the comparable price was on the hotel’s end for breakfast included she said it looked similar to my quote so then I said ok can we book a room with the breakfast included she stated no that there were no longer rooms like what I booked available. Overall seems that when you book through a third party the hotel is no longer willing to help. I let her know since I didn’t pay the third party and the hotel was charging me if I could add breakfast to our booking she said no that it was best to pay at the restaurant. So apparently booking through Booking.com was maybe the issue?!?! Biggest highlight from the hotel was the cleaning staff checking in and asking what we needed as we were walking out to explore the city.

DislikedDidn’t enjoy the check in customer service. The over $200 of additional fees plus (parking and a questionable fee that wasn’t clarified) the ones that I had already known… for me not worth shy of $1000 for a two nights!!!!

DislikedI am very upset. I called in advance and let the hotel know that my spouse will be out of the country due to the military, and they wouldn’t even allow me to move my reservation to a different day.
