Hotel Plaza Venice

LikedThis location is unbeatable if you go to Venice, but don't want to stay in the city. We stayed at the Hotel Plaza many times before and never been disappointed. Spacious and very clean rooms, very comfortable beds, basecamp very courteous staff, excellent parking, great breakfast. Recommend very highly!

DislikedThis is a bit silly, but having a hot sauce like Tabasco with the eggs for breakfast?

LikedThe staff was very friendly and welcoming. right next to the train station.

DislikedThere is no kettle in the room, this is very basic. Had to buy tea down at the restaurant and bring to the room,. Only one electrical spot in the room, should be on the bed sides as well Very low water stream in the shower

LikedTrain station was very close.

DislikedThe front desk officer was rude or maybe just too tired to act politely during the registration to the hotel. The paint was peeling off from the wall in my room.

DislikedA cockroach greeting you in the bathroom is not my idea of a 4* hotel, especially not in Venice. Lots of mosquitoes in the room. Air-conditioning did not work (it was covered with duck tape, as was most of the bathroom). Afraid to open the window (due to the mosquitoes), it was really warm in the room overnight. The breakfast area was super crowded and so noisy, you cannot hear your own thoughts. Never staying here again.
