Likedthe location was the best part of the stay
DislikedThe bathroom door did not open properly because of the hook installed on the back of it. The shelf over the sink was oddly installed, so washing face required tilting. The shower drain was clogged. Toilet seat was too small.

LikedThe Hotel Beacon is in a great location on the USW near stores, restaurants and about a block away from the subway station. We felt very safe! The hotel is clean and comfortable and they have small kitchens in the rooms, which are a huge bonus!
DislikedIf Im nitpicking, the bathroom was small and a bit dated. However, the shower was great. No plumbing issues.

LikedThe Upper West Side, where the hotel is located, offers walkable access to top restaurants and Central Park.
DislikedFor price and location, this hotel was shockingly unclean and had poor service. We found a cockroach in our bathroom and staff was annoyed with any of our requests. Management refused to acknowledge their roach issue and did not refund our stay.

Absolutely loved this hotel's location, hospitality, and facilities. We enjoyed the view from the 24th floor, overlooking a small area of Central Park. It's amazing to see sunrise through windows every morning. The restaurant on the first floor served as a good meeting place for reunion of old friends. The hotel was perfect, above and beyond every expectation!
