The location of this hotel is fantastic, can't beat it. Right in the heart of the city however it's definitely not value for money! The rooms were basic, very little space. I requested a triple room with a view. We had a tiny window which looked into an office buidling, no natural light at all. There wasn't triple beds provided, just a double bed with a fold out for my son who is taller than both my husband and I and had springs dog into him fro the full 3 nights. When we complained, they advised there was nothing they could do but change the mattress. That was jsut as bad and made no difference. The carpet was shockingly filthy and the cupboards were a real struggle to open. It was 25 on barcelona and no air con in the room, with no fan in the bathroom so it was completely humid. The pool on the Rooftop was nice, albeit small, but no service up there despite it saying there is a bar. Staff were friendly and impressed with their English however not really helpful in terms of the bed situation. One said they were half occupancy, the other advised it was full?! Who knows the truth! Wouldn't visit again unfortunately, 3 nights of terrible sleep.

LikedLocation excellent, The Beatles Suite comfortable and spacious, Breakfast excellent, clean and modern bathroom and shower Very impressive that we were offered a champagne for my son's birthday.
DislikedRoom on the first floor so could hear the metro passing under, no heating or aircondition although it was raining (end of March) we asked for extra blankets. Roof top neglected, swimming pool very small
