LikedLocation was great, close to everything in downtown. Fridge and water bottles in each room. Valet parking attendants lovely.
DislikedUndergoing construction so sidewalk was closed. Room next to elevator was loud.

LikedThe room was refurb so was new and clean .Location of hotel was good .
DislikedWell there was no indication from either booking.com or the hotel via a erratta that there was major building work going on . The hotel is in the middle of a full refurb. The lifts did not work on day one and the foyer is a size of a single carpet the rest kept as clean as possible but small messy. The breakfas room not where it should be and very thrown together with limited variety

LikedThe room was spacious and we had a great view of the city. The beds were comfortable.
DislikedThe dinner was very expensive. The shrimp pasta dish that I had was way too buttery. It tasted as if they used a whole stick of butter for the sauce. I couldn’t eat very much of it. Not realizing that the gratuity had already been added on the ticket, I added a tip on top of that, which I didn’t realized until later. (The gratuity should have been marked and more visible on the bill) I walked out feeling like I paid a whole lot for something I didn’t even eat or enjoy. Ugh! The restaurant’s ambiance was “meh.” It was not very stylish or colorful. We decided definitely not to have breakfast there, even though it would have been convenient. I didn’t like the distraction of having a movie going while eating. Because of the construction we drove right past the hotel. It was very hard to see where the valet parking was. It was not very well marked. I just about got in an accident trying to drive around the block.

LikedMy room was on the 28th floor which I enjoyed. The staff was helpful and polite. What could be improved is: the icemaker was not working on my floor; housekeeping was missed on a request to the front desk; housekeeping showed later in the day;
