Dislikedtiming of Bar closed so early on weekend and less staff to serve and the Chapter bar in evening had too much lights on should me more dim light to enjoy at bar

Great location for a venture around Al Seif and the surrounding area, the japanese restaurant next door in the sister hilton hotel is worth a visit also.

LikedBreakfast was still good, though not as good as when I stayed in 2021. Some staff were very kind, ex. ABBAS in concierge, MAYA in housekeeping, RONY in food & beverage...they always went above & beyond to help, it was much appreciated. Honorable mention to Shruthi/Pooja/Alice in Reception and Hassan, & cleaning staff who were very helpful. It must be said that overall the staff were cooperative and attentive. However, I do feel that the quality overall has slipped a little since the crew in 2021 left.

DislikedThe property is showing signs of wear and lacks the "shiny new" feel from 2021. SOME members of staff could benefit from some training in handling customers, ex. BILAL in Reception who forgot to note down that he had granted me a late checkout until 1pm when I had requested until at least 2pm which he denied; JIBON who was rude twice to me during breakfast.
