Albus Hotel Amsterdam City Centre

LikedStaff were very helpful. Room was modern and spacious. Good location.

DislikedWhen you open the bathroom door, all 4 lights come on automatically, waking up anybody who is sleeping.

LikedThe location was PERFECT. We had friends join us half way through the week we were in Amsterdam and they stayed at the Hilton Doubletree. Every time we invited them somewhere they moaned about having to get back to their hotel. The Albus is just a minute's walk to all the great areas in the city..... especially at night.

DislikedThey could add more storage in the bathroom. A shelf and/or hooks on the wall adjacent to the vanity would make things a lot easier then the balance act we had to pull off. We hung our toiletriy bags on the glass of the shower.

Likedonly the location is good.

DislikedThere is no water, broken coffee machine. No facilities.

LikedThe location and the room are spacious with comfortable bed . I like the contemporary setting of the room . Hotel staffs are very helpful and friendly .

LikedCentral location was the main reason for the booking. The space in the apartment was welcome. The facilities were good in the kitchen, although the bathroom was small and the bedroom gloomy.

DislikedDespite requesting staff to make the TV operational, this was ignored once, attempted unsuccessfully later and then nothing. Irritating. Also, the seating was very uncomfortable. Further, noise from the apartment upstairs was unwelcome.
