LikedVery nice bathroom and room. Appreciated the welcome drinks and snacks. Loved the location and feel of the hotel including the lobby. Staff at breakfast were very friendly and sweet esp with our 9 year old

LikedThe hotel has a stunning entrance and grand interior. The rooms were tastefully furnished with regal wallpaper and a chandelier. You can definitely feel this hotel would have been grand in its hay day. Breakfast met expectation. Nice to have the small pool and sauna option.
DislikedYou can get lost along the passageways as it is such a large hotel. The rooms air conditioning didn't work, it was so hot in the room (beginning of April), that we needed a fan. I'd be quite concerned about staying in the July / August heat. Just sheets and raw blankets on the bed which is a little disappointing for the cost. No kettle, tea, coffee or cups. We were able to order hot water though. Most hotel guests were American, so little diversity in clientele. Tiles coming off in pool also added to the general wear and tear feel.
