LikedThe room was lovely and overlooked the canal. A great location for exploring Venice for the first time and not too far from the water taxi at Rialto Bridge.
DislikedThere was no reception so you couldn't ask for advice about trips or restaurants etc. It was a room only so not really a hotel I don't think.

LikedThe hotel is in a good location near the city centre and the room and the bathroom were good. A satisfactory experience. They even recommended a good restaurant to us
DislikedIn other parts of the world, at this level of service, you get a little more. Ie, free water or free coffee, or at least the hotel staff carries your bags when needed. We understand some of these things are uncommon in Italy (and we were totally satisfied with the hotel), but it would be a "nice to have", and sometimes European hotels should have a look at what hotels in other parts of the world offer, even for a "standard" room ;)
