LikedThe location is easy to reach from Termini station if you are arriving in Rome by train. Very close to the Opera house. Breakfast was very good with all tases catered for and overlooking the garden. Restaurant was also very good. The front desk team are wonderful as are all the staff.
DislikedI liked everything! There is nothing to complain about.

LikedLocation great. Beautiful old hotel. Bit tired but still beautiful. Breakfast buffet yum and the kids loved it.
DislikedDesk staff gruff, offered very little assistance.. One of our rooms was smelly (at best old building smell - at worst something may have died in the air vent). The water pressure was DREADFUL. Asked for different (not toast thin) pillow and they either didn't bother, or replaced like with like as any change was unnoticeable. Coffee at breakfast was the worst I have ever tasted (machine).

LikedLovely old world hotel with high ceilings and very comfortable bed. Fantastic location and friendly staff. Great base for sightseeing with Colosseum, Trevi fountain and Spanish Steps within 20 mins walk. St Maria Maggiore basilica is a real treasure just 5 mins walk away, as is the central train station.
DislikedCould be more gluten free options - particularly at breakfast, as the buffet didn't have many options for coeliacs
