Pinewood Hotel Rome

LikedGenerally the room, stay was fine, may be a bit less than the 4 stars that the hotel has. Staff was kind and helpful.

DislikedWhen booking, I was looking for the St. Peters Basilica and Vatican as the location we wanted to be close to. The Booking site said that the hotel was 2,5 km away from there. May be birds' flight! Hotel is far away out of the centre of Rome, transport by metro or comparatively expensive taxi. We had very bad experience on the first day when picking taxi from the street on day 1- it charged us 3x the normal price...So, book somewhere else if you want to walk from the historic centre.

LikedThe building is nice and also the staff

DislikedThere's a lack of cleanliness in the rooms. I would like more variety for breakfast. All three mornings of my stay, the breakfasts were the same. Additionally, no one refilled the breakfast buffet after 9 a.m. The hotel is far from the main attractions , so if you arrive without a car, the journeys could be quite long.

LikedLocation cleanliness and breakfast was good. Near metro Cornelia line A twenty minutes walk to hotel or choices or 3 different buses 3 stops. Close to at Peter’s square/ Vatican/ trevi fountain.

DislikedNo evening dining

LikedThe location is very good, metro A is nearby the hotel. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. Staff was nice.

DislikedThe breakfast was the same every morning so its kinda boring but its good.
