Massimi City Garden Hotel

LikedThe facility is very almost newly renovated. The room was clean and the bathroom modern. Overall the structure is good. Unfortunately it´s a big hotel and host also classroom and big groups that create some difficulties as the breakfast room quite busy and noisy. if some class kids are hosted in the room near you, well, you could expect some noise late and early in the morning too. But Rome is beautiful and the location of the Hotel is perfect, 40 min far from the historical center by bus, only 15 min by taxi. The position, the renovated facility and the staff very pleasant and helpful make this Hotel a good choice.

DislikedThe hotel host regularly schools and big groups, it could make the ambient a little bit noisy and chaotic. Breakfast is abundant but I would have expected a better quality since we´re in Italy.

LikedThe very best breakfast i have had in Italy, over the past 7 years of travelling around Italy. The hotel is a very well kept building and has a modern feel to it. The staff are all very helpful and especially the bar tender, who also oversees the dining area - Thank you. The location is not in the center of Rome and its a short bus ride to the nearest Metro station - but the busses & Metro are frequent and easy to use.

DislikedThe only downfall (if any) is just the location, as its not next to a metro point, and you need a bus to get to the closest one.

LikedThe staff was very polite, understanding and helpful. I needed help few times during the stay and had to interact with reception staff. They provided all the help they could have, going above and beyond their usual responsibilities. Wusene and everyone (I wish I had asked the names of others) were absolutely sincere and saviour as I needed help with local communication. We had the breakfast in the restaurant and the staff there was also super curtious.

LikedThe staff were to a person really friendly and helpful, couldn’t fault them The breakfast was sufficient and plenty of it. The eggs were superb. The hotel ran a shuttle and did a return pick up to the nearest metro from where you could walk to the Vatican in 5 mins or so.

DislikedThe room was a little small and tired, the padded walls were a bit strange but you got used to them. The shower wasn’t the best and you had to climb over the edge of the bath, the more infirm May find this tricky. My wife has bad knees and she found it quite difficult, a walk in shower would have been much better.
