Hotel Lombardi

LikedRoom was nice and clean, staff were friendly and location was great.

DislikedThere was construction happening on the property that woke us up early in the morning. Breakfast was not with the price.

LikedHello, it was a pleasure staying with Hotel Lombardi, Great location, near train, tram and bus station and public areas, also walkable distance for places to visit. Reception Staff was great about everything, they were extremely hospitable and explained in detail where and how we could reach and guided us in the right direction. We stayed as two family with 1 year old kid. The breakfast was nice and delicious beyond our expectations. The Lady in breakfast area was so nice and kind, the coffees she made were delicious. The bathroom was clean and renovated. They helped for baby bed at 2nd night.

DislikedThe furniture in the room looked old but still worked. I think the curtains were heavy on the cornice and were about to fall. When we informed them, they fixed it immediately.

LikedThe location was the only thing that was good about this hotel

DislikedThe entrance to the building resembled a homeless person's shelter. The hotel was on the second floor of a shabby building, sharing it with goodness. knows what else . The Hotel was undergoing a major renovation. The foyer and hall way was blocked with scaffolding and equipment. The noise of workers and power tools was relentless continuing until 6pm. The smell of toxic burning MDF and dust was prevalent. Management boasted that our room was newly renovated, but work was incomplete. electrical wiring protruding through the walls Hole in the ceiling Left over building material was still on the balcony Shower drain was blocked Management offered no solution when confronted with these problems. When we left a day early ,due to the unacceptable situation they promised us a refund of the unused portion of our Tariff. With remittance advice of the refund to be sent that day. We are still waiting. We are also waiting for booking. Com to resolve this as well. Needless to say we are very disappointed with both parties.
