Hotel Villa Liana

LikedWe had an OK stay in the hotel. The hotel itself is a bit outdated and has not been renovated for at least a few decades. There is no elevator. The rooms and bathrooms are old and basic, but everything works. The water pressure in the shower lacks sufficient strength if other guests are using a shower too. The breakfast is basic: there are some pieces of bread, croissants, some fruit, cake, and tea and coffee. The location is in a quiet area in Florence and at least 20 minutes walk from the centre, Duomo and Palazzo Vecchio, Uffizi. The personnel is decent. The hotel has no real lobby, bar or offers any other services to its guests (no gym or so) and is a quirt place to stay. The rooms were clean.

DislikedThe water pressure in the shower.

LikedLovely little hotel full of antiques. Enables you to immerse yourself into the past, whilst visiting Florence. We had a couple of rooms separated into a little flat, which were great for a family of four, with two teenagers. Also a good breakfast to start the day!

DislikedWe wish the mattresses were not quite as antiquated as the hotel! Very hard and uncomfortable,- did not enable a good nights sleep. Pls do update them at your earliest convenience and bring them into the 21st century!

LikedThe place is amazing. Full of history and a very kind staff. The breakfast is really good quality. All fresh products.

LikedA great old house converted into a hotel. The stuff was great and the breakfast was quite good

DislikedThe bathroom was a little bit cold, but considering that the house was built in 19th century you van‘t expect to have central heating in the bathroom.
