Hotel San Zulian

LikedThe location was great!

DislikedIt was too small it felt crowded, but the most we disliked was the incident with the shower door. It felt down and broke as soon as my father just touched it, just 5 minutes after we checked in. We understand we didn't have proof of what happened, but the hotel didn't have proof either. They came very aggressive. "You broke it, you pay it," they said. It was a dangerous situation for my elderly father. Other than that it was a very standard hotel.

LikedThe location was awesome, almost in the center of everything you want to see. Breakfast was ok (continental but ok) room was very clean (I mean very clean :) ). Unfortunately, when it was warm outside, the Hotel turned out the heating. After a few days, it went cold, and the heating was still off. Then it became a little bit cold.

LikedGreat location and lovely staff, the room was super lovely and comfortable. totally recommend it

Dislikedmaybe if there was a cattle in a room that would be great. however there was one in the common area with tea, coffee and biscuits

LikedLocation is good, quite close to San Marco square, 2 min on foot. Hotel is situated in the historical building, interior hardly touched by subsequent renovations.

DislikedStuff is unfriendly, they see guests as annoyance. General air of uncleanliness, bits and pieces are hanging loose, and you feel unclean about everything. The stuff prefers to let guests be on their own, and you feel generally uncared for. The shower cabin in our room didn't have the sliding door, just wide open into the bathroom. Naturally the shower water would spill on the floor, and you'd want to avoid stepping in it for fear of sliding or catching some residue from the floor onto your skin. I would want to avoid this hotel in the future
