Hotel Orto de' Medici

Likedhotel interiors and design was very classy and modern, airy and clean at all times, staff was very accomodating, cheerful and have very excellent customer service, special mention to ms judith at the front desk, breakfast choices of food was just right but can be improved by adding a little more, special mention to the lady in-charge, she made sure we had everything we asked for, had a very pleasant stay here. we forgot some personal belongings in the hotel but when i emailed, staff were quick to respond and arrange for how we can retrieve our items

LikedHotel Orto de Medici is a delightful find near Florence's key attractions. Conveniently close to the train station, its charm captivates. The staff is exceptionally courteous, always ready to offer helpful advice. The hotel manager pleasantly surprised us with a room upgrade, ensuring a memorable stay. The food is tasty and also includes all options for those with allergies. We'll certainly return to this exceptional gem.

DislikedIf you use hair conditioner or love to greet the morning in a dressing gown, remember to bring these with you. In the room, you will find beautifully scented soaps, slippers, shampoo, shower gel, and body lotion. The lack of a wardrobe in the room isn't much of an issue as there are always hangers and shelves for suitcases available. Coffee enthusiasts should visit local cafes, as the coffee served at the hotel breakfast isn't the Italian delicacy we adore.

LikedThe staff were exceptional. Everyone bent over backwards to be helpful and to make us comfortable . Mariel was particularly helpful. Young bartender also very nice
