LikedLocation was perfect for those who wanted to be in the heart of the city at a reasonable price, the room was spotless and the the facilities were what I expected

Dislikednothing to fault

LikedThe location is great - not far from the train station, not far from the Duomo etc. The hotel has its own quirky charm. Every place (room, lobby, staircase, toilets) is plastered with signs of rules and instructions. The rooms interior was a funny mix of 80s plastic (bright red hooks etc) and older wooden furniture. The hotels elevator seemed antique and a bit scary. We were allowed to leave our bags until 5 pm after checking out.

DislikedNo lift from ground floor, very gloomy room

LikedThe location is extremely convenient, with Medici Chapel in one minute, the Duomo and the train station in ten minutes.

DislikedBecause of its central location at night it was very loud! I can hardly sleep before the pub/restaurant had stopped their music. Moreover, when I was staying, at around 6 am there were always trucks or something making loud noises (probably trash truck or some truck collecting stuff). To be brief it was very noisy and the window helped little. Another is the strange rule of giving your key to the reception every time you go out! Therefore, you have to ask them for your key every time, causing a lot of trouble. They dealed with check-in for a long time, and they did not speak good English.

LikedIt was very central and absolutely close to everything and all the main attractions in Florence.

DislikedThere was no fridge or kettle in the room. That would be awesome to keep things fresh or to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning seeing that they served no breakfast. Then one could supply your own coffee and refreshments. Also there was no safe to keep your passport and money so I carried it with me.
