LikedThe location of the hotel, the staff and the room — all were superb!

LikedThe room and entire property certainly exceeded our expectations. We picked the property based on it's ~10 minute proximity to the major sights but were pleasantly surprised to turn right on the piazza and find the Duomo at the end of the street. The aesthetic of the property is classic and traditional with modern touches in the rooms that work beautifully. We were in one of the upper rooms - one down from the attics I think - and had gorgeous high ceilings and massive windows. The staff were welcoming and kind, but unobtrusive. It's hard to tell what to expect with older, more traditional style properties but Loggiato dei Serviti is exactly as appears in the photos and feels more luxurious and welcoming than expected.

LikedBrilliant central location not far from the Duomo. Very attractive room with a separate frescoed bathroom and view across piazza. Helpful staff and car parked efficiently for us.

DislikedWould have been helpful to have been told that we should drive into centre of Florence and they would look after the permit for that.

LikedThe breakfasts were excellent! And the rooms were clean, well appointed, and quite lovely. We really enjoyed our stay, and would happily stay again.

DislikedAs an older building, the plumbing and the floors can be a bit creaky. Adds to the charm, really, but worth bringing ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper.

DislikedWe stayed at a building down the street, not in the hotel. The hotel seems to sublet these rooms and rent them out. The unit was a big apartment and nice. But the lobby and hallway were very dirty and there was a smell.
